overview

NASCAR has been working hard, along with your support, to continue to be a leader in sports. As part of our leadership position, we are committed to promoting diversity within our organization and throughout the industry by providing opportunities for everyone to become involved in the NASCAR experience. To help us in our endeavor, we are once again coordinating the NASCAR Diversity Internship Program (NDIP).

Our mission is to expose qualified college/university students who are of Alaskan Native, American Indian, Asian/Pacific Island, African American, Hispanic, or of other racial minority descent to NASCAR and the different career opportunities available throughout motorsports-related companies.

We would like to invite your organization to play a key role in this program by hosting a summer intern. This ten-week program is typically held from early June through August, and will target diverse college and graduate students from across the country.

"Watching a young person with determination and a dream begin to take steps to make his dream come true was an inspiration to all of us. The young man in our program last year really had a burning desire to be here. He was conscientious and eager to learn. Each member of our team that had the opportunity to spend time with him was delighted at his willingness to participate. He definitely added value to our organization while he was here."
