Application process

To be considered for a position in the NASCAR Diversity Internship Program, you must complete an application online or mail it to, NASCAR c/o NASCAR Diversity Department 1801 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32114 along with all supporting documents. A completed application is considered to contain the following:

Completed application (please print neatly or type to ensure that we have the most accurate information)

An official copy of the applicant’s current transcript (please request that your registrars office mail a sealed copy directly to NASCAR)

Personal statement

Resume including 3 (three) references


Application checklist

Complete the application

Request that your registrars office send an official copy of your current transcript

Complete your personal statement

Include a resume

Include three references

Send all required materials by March 3, 2008


Selection process

A screening of applicants will be conducted by NASCAR, using the following criteria:

Academic success

Areas of interest

Extracurricular activities and awards

Personal statement (writing sample)

References

From the initial pool of applicants, only a select group will be chosen to receive interviews. Telephone interviews will be conducted with the applicant. References may be contacted if necessary.

Only those applicants that were chosen for interviews will receive notification of their status.

All material submitted for consideration may also be reviewed by each participating company and NASCAR.

Materials submitted for consideration will not be returned to the applicant.
